with the country still reeling from one of the darkest and unsettling periods of this century, you’d think the country would be pulling together. But forces unseen are determined to sabotage our way of life.
Let’s take a look behind the scenes at the forces massing against us and try to fit together the pieces in this destructive jigsaw. Time to visit the Laundromat of London on the way.
Out went Boris, in came Truss, then suddenly, it was Sunak
With well over two years of his premiership left to run, cheese and wine Covid birthday parties, a sleezy MP, bungled denials and half-truths saw the exit of Boris Johnson, the most popular premiers of recent time. What Great Britain needed now was a strong, honest, untarnished replacement.

The decision was put to the Conservative party membership and for a wonderful moment, we thought we might have a PM in newcomer Kemi Badenoch, who many people (like me) felt would be a breath of fresh air and good for the Country.
Kemi had performed well in the role of Trade Secretary. A committed Brexiteer to the right of the Party, she had a clear vision for the Country and her decision to stand was applauded by many of the electorate. Many on the right had high hopes she would pull it off. But it was not to be.
Unuttered objections behind the scenes from the inner party-old guard precipitated the collapse of her bid for political power.
This was the the first betrayal of the People.
The best of the also rans make it a two-horse race

Two contenders remained. Liz Truss, the foreign secretary, who had achieved spectacular success in negotiating a long list of trade deals with non-EU countries from around the world – far more than the EU had ever managed to achieve for itself. Again, a very capable politician.
She faced Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor in Johnson’s Cabinet. He had financed the disastrous Covid Lockdowns, baled-out the Country’s businesses and put billions into Chinese companies who had provided PPE, medical equipment, testing kits and other pandemic paraphernalia. This had left the economy barely alive and carrying a huge black hole of debt.
The end of the contest saw Liz Truss prevail to take the premiership with her new chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng proposing a huge package of fiscal stimulus designed to kick-start the economy, along with lower taxes. The city, which had stayed silent about the equally breathtaking plunge into the red by Rishi Sunak, were not happy and baying for blood.
A tax-band reduction for the highest earners brought everything to boiling point. It was designed to stimulate business leaders to drive forward the new economy, something Liz failed to put across.
The City, IMF and the EU led a campaign of action to oust the Chancellor and undermine the new government’s authority. First to go was Kwartang, but soon after, he was followed by the new Prime Minister herself. In a financial coup against the people, Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt were installed as Prime Minister and Chancellor. Betrayal number two.
The UK’s government now selected by unseen suits in the Square Mile
The Markets, now quelled by “adjustments” by those holding the financial steering wheel and nods of approval from the IMF-EU for putting the brakes on the UK competitive economy would play into the EU’s coffers. But a staggering unforeseen act was to come.
What would follow be betrayal number three – and the most despicable of all.
COP27 and the giveaway of the British future
COP27 – the gathering of hand-ringing nations and those African and Asian regimes who mostly wanted to fund their petty tribal wars under the guise of aid – was initially taking place without Rishi Sunak. He had initially stated he was giving it a miss because of the urgent business in the UK. But his City masters had other ideas for our glove-puppet PM.
He was sent with a briefcase – make that an articulated trailer – full of money to hand out to eager NGO’s to syphon off without the needy millions seeing a penny. After all the wholesome words and crocodile tears, the truth of the situation would be realised.
Rushi had given away the same amount of money that Kwasi had promised to British business and the economy as a whole. Yes, the money we didn’t have that so horrified the City and Markets. So why no outpouring of City outrage?
Well, for the same reason that there was no objection to the Covid financing. Because the money would flow through the City and through the murky fog of many hands out for a slice of the pie.
London as world’s money laundering capital. Welcome to the London Laundromat
It’s easy to think that every penny of aid goes to starving children and charitable building projects. But most goes into NGO’s which form a shadowy link between the aid providers and the states requesting the aid. The states whose people are in desperate need see only a token amount. Some goes to their corrupt leader’s Swiss bank accounts, most goes into the NGO’s unaudited treasure chest to invest through, you guessed, the City and other Market locations around the world.
So, dear friends, your future has been given away to the City, corrupt politicians and ultimately arms suppliers like China. I hope the Chancellor’s tax rises sit well with you now you know.
