who I am

I’m Neil Robinson. I’ve spent my working life in the technical architecture, digital and system security world learning about, implementing, troubleshooting and sometimes struggling with new technology.

I moved into corporate consultancy, then digital marketing strategy to help clients at all levels from global financial institutions, celebrities like Jamie Oliver down to local start-ups.

Along the way, I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly. No, not the film.

I now choose to actively promote the good, expose the bad and eradicate the ugly here online.

zenscape's about lifestyle. The music we hear, the technology we interact with, the things that make our life interesting - and everything good or bad worth talking about. This journal's a collection of my thoughts and ramblings over the the years, along with an archive of articles published by the strategy consultancy where I worked before. Its outspoken. Some views have aged well, some not. I've been a systems and security consultant, digital strategist and journalist, the topics discussed here represent what I was doing at the time.
